Samuel Brooks, President of S. BROOKS AND ASSOCIATEīS INC. and President, Co-Founder and Chair of a closely held, Oregon based, minority owned corporation. Samuel Brooks spent 10 years working in Employment and training programs for the Oregon Employment Department between 1971-1981. Samuel and Margaret Brooks began the first minority owned staffing company in the state of Oregon. Today BROOKS STAFFING, a division of S. Brooks and Associates manages over 150 employees statewide in Oregon and Washington.
Experience
While building S. BROOKS AND ASSOCIATES, INC. Samuel Brooks founded the Oregon Association of Minority Entrepreneurs. OAME is now the largest minority owned business association in the Pacific Northwest.
Samuel Brooks involvement over the last 35 years have included the following:
- Chair of the Pacific Incubator Network (Alaska, British Columbia, Washington, Oregon, California, Baja Mexico, Hawaii and the Pacific Islands)
